Weekly and Monthly Events
Lunch Bunch
All persons 50+ are welcome to attend Lunch Bunch gatherings on the first Wednesday of each month, 11:30 a.m. We visit local restaurants or meet in homes or parks for carry-in lunches. Other activities include playing cards, Bunko, trips to local or regional attractions, and an annual trip to New City Theatre in Overland Park for a Wednesday lunch and matinee.
Faith Singers
The adult choir, the Faith Singers, meets for rehearsals from mid-September through April or early May, 4:00 p.m., at the Quiring home, 4037 SW Indian Hills Road. All persons who enjoy singing are welcome to attend. During the summer months, a Men’s Chorus and a Women’s Chorus provide special music.
Faith Ringers
The Faith Ringers is a group of eight who play handchimes. This group meets on Sundays, 5:00 p.m., at the Quiring home, 4037 SW Indian Hills Road, during the same season as the Faith Singers. The group plays for worship every other month. If you would like to join this group when openings occur, please call Saundra Quiring at 478-3243.
